For the Psycho Recreation my last role was that of editor, this by far is my biggest problem coming up as i have never edited before and have never learned, hopefully this research will give me some insight.
Editor
Is part of the creative post-production process of film making. The film editor works with the raw footage, selecting shots and combining them into sequences and scenes to create a finished Film, or in my case to create a documentary.
What does this in tale
- Working closely with the Director to craft the finished product
- Working in an edit suite for long hours
- Creating a product that works for the idea
- To make sure the Documentary makes sense and can be understood
- Understand dramatic telling of a product that has a rhythm, pace and tension, if required for the documentary
