Just as a quick update my report is now under way and i am working through it

As a way to show how well we know our topic for the report we were tasked to complete a presentation that consisted of 12 each 10 seconds long this was so we think on our feet as a way to also prepare for job interviews as well as we also need to present ourselves during the presentation. While i have not started, i will begin straight away.

Cinema (2012)

In May 2012, a certain culture critic boldly proclaimed that TV had creatively dethroned the movies. Given the past year’s cinematic dazzle, must he now admit he was wrong

That's Right, may 2012 had show that TV was down but not out with films, as shown with the numbers films made, here are the top 5 highest grossing films of 2012.

now why these films may have not been groundbreaking, the money they earned is not to be sneezed at

The future of TV is very much focused on On demand and online services which is why i have created the post on Netflix is to give a quick overview of how i may use it my report but also a general overview of what Netflix is 

What is it?

Is an American provider of on-demand Internet streaming media available to viewers in all of North America, Australia, New Zealand, South America and parts of Europe (Denmark, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, United Kingdom and Germany), that provides a wide array of films and TV shows, which is now becoming a major player in creating its own production .

How it will fit into my report?

Since it is now creating its own TV programs, which can outshine network TV shows, which lead me to feel that this is what the future of TV could be.

During my research for my blog i found some interesting viewing figures taken from the website Spoilertv while the viewing figures are mostly for american tv i felt it would be interesting to include if not in my report at least on my blog
 Each is Rating is broken up into how many of the shows demographic watched plus how much extra viewers watched to get the total

Editing This

 For the Psycho Recreation my last role was that of editor, this by far is my biggest problem coming up as i have never edited before and have never learned, hopefully this research will give me some insight.

Editor 
Is part of the creative post-production process of film making. The film editor works with the raw footage, selecting shots and combining them into sequences and scenes to create a finished Film, or in my case to create a documentary.
What does this in tale 

• Working closely with the Director to craft the finished product
• Working in an edit suite for long hours
• Creating a product that works for the idea
• To make sure the Documentary makes sense and can be understood
• Understand dramatic telling of a product that has a rhythm, pace and tension, if required for the documentary  

TV begins its Reign

2011



Was the year where TV became more prominent this was due to increase in more drama based programming such as Breaking Bad which increased in view ship, Downton Abbey beginning to air in the United States. But also because of Game of Thrones Season 1 airing on TV, which saw the TV being created with similar production values as a film, but also being wide spread critical acclaim.
Which had reviews such as "But the overall sense of this is that of a terrific TV series" A.V. Club, "The network has another hit on its hands" Den Of Geek
